Summer Cravings

This past week was weird. But beautiful

When I mean weird, I mean weird.
Typical New England doesn't know what season it is sometimes. I actually had to wear a scarf this week. But then on the other hand, I was hitting the beach getting a burn and wearing shorts.

See. New England doesn't know how to react.

Anyways...
Sunglasses: Oakley
I hope everyone has had a great week. A few good things happened. I got all of my summer cravings out of the way.Hitting the beach finally this year in a actual bikini, not my typical walking my dog, Olive, beach days. I ate like a queen multiple times this week as well. Not only did I have my first Somerset Creamery homemade ice cream cone (chocolate mint loaded with oreos, placed in a warm waffle cone) but I had fried clams. Oh my goodness, these delectable morsels of sea life goodness. Perfectly battered and deep fried to perfection at the lovely fathoms in Fairhaven. (typical New Englander with a Boston accent, don't pronounce the R. It hurts to listen to it.) My cousin Zach who I call my brother graduated this weekend from high school. So you can bet your ass there was lots of food. and PORTUGUESE food. Littlenecks and pork. Yummy in my tummy. (I'll make a post later dedicated to Portuguese goodness). There was pasta salad, my mothers famous spinach salad loaded with caramelized onions
and bacon, Pain Killers, and of course cake.

Ya you can say I ate.

So after this week and eating like a crazy lady, I realized this won't stop all summer and I will be starting a new school fat as a toad. So I have decided to go on Ideal Protein with my father, Jack. The food will suck, but it will so be worth it in the end. Got my fingers crossed!

So I hope all of you get to release some of your summer cravings soon, just as I did. Maybe not so close together as I did lol. But you know what, it's summer so why not!

Btw.. I went to the beach 3 times this week. I like to call the sun my best friend.

I hope everyone has a great week! I'll be sure to start posting more summer inspiration outfits, since I'm a fashion student and all :)

Verano

Summer.

The.Best.Season.Of.All.

Too many good things happen during 3 months.

Let's go through the list...
The weather is finally nice, especially for us New Englanders. No more snow for us! You finally start to feel good about yourself. Everyone looks good with a tan, no matter what. Ice cream shops reopen and you can finally get your fix of the real deal instead of trying to enjoy the ride to the supermarket to grab something from the freezer. The beaches are ready for you to sit your ass on it and lay in that beautiful sun all day long. LOBSTER. Friends finally wants to hang out whether it be a cookout, fire, or maybe late night beach adventure. It is more acceptable to drink during the day because you have the excuse of "I have to stay hydrated". While sand can be annoying to get everywhere, when you feel it in your sheets when you go to bed is such a great feeling because that's when you know you had a great day. Del's Lemonade. The amount of seafood you eat. Clams, lobster (yes, I said it again), fish, quahogs, just yes. Grill'em, fry'em, saute'em, it's all too good. All of the laughs and memories made during these 3 months out of the entire year are the best to make.

Raise a glass to good laughs, good times, and a fabulous summertime.
